Liverpool vs. Arsenal: Preview, stream, TV channel and how to watch Premier League match

Christmas comes early for football fans as one of the biggest matches of the season happens on Saturday.

The top two teams in the Premier League meet as Liverpool host Arsenal at Anfield. The Reds trail the league-leading Gunners by one point, meaning they would leapfrog back into first place with a home victory.

On the flip side, the North London club could pad its lead with a win over their hosts.

With such big implications in the title race, the motivation for both sides to claim a victory in this match is obvious.

However, the campaign has yet to reach the mid-point, so a victory for either Liverpool or Arsenal would not likely be season-defining.

"[It's] matchday 18 – that means after that we play 20 more games, right?" said Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

"If we win it we are not through, if they win it they are not through, even when probably that's then the headlines they have to deal with."
