    It's a tight race atop the Premier League standings, with Sunday's Liverpool vs. Leicester match featuring two of the top four teams.

    Leicester led the way with 18 points from eight games as the league returned from the international break this week. (Tottenham jumped to the top of the table with their win over Manchester City on Saturday.) The Foxes have returned to the form that won them the title in 2015-16, and once again it's Jamie Vardy doing the heavy lifting offensively as the striker has eight goals so far.

    Liverpool sits just a single point back of Leicester City. The Reds are a bonafide challenger for the crown as expected, but they'll have to make do on Sunday without their top scorer — Mo Salah, who is tied with Vardy on the goal chart — because he tested positive for COVID-19 while on international duty with Egypt.

    Salah joins a growing list of players who are unavailable to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, as Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Fabinho are all out with long-term injuries. Additionally, Andy Robertson and captain Jordan Henderson are also doubtful for Sunday's clash, making Klopp's job a lot tougher.

    Not that Leicester will care — the Foxes have an opportunity to put some distance between themselves and a direct challenger for the title, and Liverpool's injury crisis won't stop the league leaders from trying to grab three valuable points.
