Louis Saha isn't convinced that Arsenal need Riccardo Calafiori.
The Gunners are reportedly close to landing the defender in a transfer from Serie A side Bologna, but Saha doesn't feel such a move would fill a need for the North London side.
Arsenal allowed the fewest number of goals in the entire Premier League last season, and while Califiori impressed with both Roma and Italy recently, Saha doesn't think signing the 22-year-old is required.
“Ricardo Calafiori played well at the Euros, but Italy didn’t have a great tournament," Saha said will speaking with Paddy Power. "With William Saliba and Gabriel, I don’t see the need for Riccardo Calafiori.
“Of course they need cover but Arsenal had one of the best defences in the league last season and they were really strong.”
