The Argentine has recovered from Covid-19.

Manchester City could welcome three key players back to their line up as they prepare for their match against Spurs on Saturday afternoon.

Pep Guardiola’s side are coming off the back of a 15th successive victory and could extend that further as their boss locks horns with Jose Mourinho once again.

Midfielder Rodri has returned to training after suffering an injury midweek against Swansea City in the FA Cup, Ruben Dias has recovered from illness, and Sergio Aguero is no longer in isolation after a bout of coronavirus.

He is now ready for inclusion after getting back on the training pitch with his teammates. However Kevin De Bruyne, Nathan Ake and Fernandinho are all out with their own injuries.

“Rodri trained quite good today and I think he will be available tomorrow,” Guardiola said on the club’s official website.

“Ruben came back to training today and Sergio made his second training session with us.”

“Except Fernandinho, Nathan and Kevin, I think the rest of the first-team squad are available.”

City have not defeated Spurs in their last three matches and lost their last meeting 2-0 in the Premier League.
