Manchester City 0-1 Chelsea: Kai Havertz strike seals Champions League title

The first-half goal was all the scoring the Blues needed.

It was another victory for Chelsea over Manchester City on Saturday, although this one was for the highest stakes yet.

The Blues claimed the 2020-21 UEFA Champions League title thanks to their 1-0 win in Porto, after putting on a steadfast display that frustrated and confounded City thoughout. Kai Havertz struck in the 42nd minute to put his team ahead, and Chelsea wouldn't need any more offence as they limited the Sky Blues to just a single shot on target over the 90 minutes.

This came despite City holding 61 percet of the possession, as Chelsea were content with hitting on the counter and stifling the Sky Blues every time they ventured into the attacking third of the pitch.

The win was the third straight for Thomas Tuchel's men against City, and it secured the club's second Champions League title.
