    Here's everything you need to know about Saturday's broadcast between Spurs and the Sky Blues.

    When Tottenham and Manchester City meet on Saturday with a chance for one of the teams to take over the top spot in the Premier League, recent history dictates that it should be City with the opportunity to climb atop the standings with a victory.

    In 2020, however, recent history has no bearing. When Spurs and City face off, it'll be the north London team that could leapfrog into first place with a victory (with a Leicester City loss or draw against Liverpool).

    Tottenham has enjoyed a stellar start to the campaign, losing just once over the first eight matches and trailing only Leicester in the standings. Jose Mourinho's side returns from the November international break on a three-game winning streak, putting pressure on the Foxes to continue their own torrid opening to the season.

    Meanwhile, City has struggled out of the gates. Although the Sky Blues hold a game in hand on all but one team ahead of them in the standings, they're still way off their own high standards with just 12 points through seven games — putting City in 10th place.

    Pep Guardiola's men have managed just two wins and two draws from their four most recent Premier League fixtures, with each match featuring just a single City goal. It's hardly the free-flowing style we've become accustomed to from City under Guardiola, and now the club faces a Tottenham team that has more than figured out the offensive side of the game.

    Spurs have scored 19 goals so far — good enough for second in the league behind Chelsea's 20 — while City has managed just 10. If that trend continues, it could be a long day for Guardiola's side.
