Manchester City vs. Real Madrid: Time, TV channel, live stream in Canada for Champions League game

For all of Manchester City's achievements over the past decade, the one thing that still eludes the English giant is a Champions League title.

One of the world's richest clubs, City easily attracts top talent both on and off the pitch, and it has led to a 21st century trophy case that is rivalled by few teams in the world. However, the club has still yet to capture the top prize in Europe, putting pressure on manager Pep Guardiola to deliver in a season that did not see his side claim the Premier League title. 

Guardiola faces a familiar foe on the road to the Champions League final, as City hosts Real Madrid in the Round of 16 second leg following a contentious 2-1 victory at the Santiago Bernabeu back in February. Madrid will be keen to hand disappointment to old nemesis Guardiola, but the Spanish club will have to do so without captain Sergio Ramos, who picked up a red card late in the first leg.

On the other side of the pitch, City will be without Sergio Aguero, who remains sidelined with a knee injury sustained in late June. The race is on to get the striker back to fitness, especially if City was to advance past Madrid and into the quarterfinals.

If history is any indication, fans should expect a tight match Friday. The previous two meetings in Manchester between the clubs both ended in draws, which would work to City's advantage should it happen again.
