Harry Kane scored twice as Tottenham Hotspur defeated Manchester City 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Spurs came into the match on a three-game Premier League losing streak but they didn't let their recent form dampen their spirits as they stunned the league leaders at home.
Kane's double capped a wild second half in which the Londoners relinquished the lead late on but still came away with the full three points, denying City from maintaining their nine-point advantage over second-place Liverpool (who had won earlier Saturday and closed the gap to six points).
A late flurry by the Sky Blues led to a Riyad Mahrez stoppage-time penalty kick that looked to salvage a point, but Kane hit a powerful header deep into added time to snatch the victory as Spurs shrugged off a 72-28 possession deficit.
