United will surely strengthen this summer.

Jarrad Branthwaite has earned many plaudits this season as a rare bright spot in what has been a torrid season for Everton.

Recently called up by Gareth Southgate for England, Branthwaite could feature at Euro 2024, and with the world likely to be tuning in to the huge tournament, Branthwaite’s stock could go even higher.

Lee Sharpe, a Premier League title winner with Manchester United, has urged his former club to bring the defender in.

Erik ten Hag’s club have struggled this season, but Sharpe has identified the Everton star as one player who could come in and make United stronger.

“Jarrad Branthwaite is certainly a signing they should look at this summer,” said Sharpe when speaking to BetVictor

“He’s a big, strong defender who can play with the ball. He’s fit, he’s young and he’s certainly the type of player you need to look at.”
