Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes that Ange Postecoglou’s team will win 3-2 against Manchester United this weekend.
Tottenham travel to Old Trafford buoyed by the signing of Radu Dragusin from Genoa, while United are now shorn of Jadon Sancho, who has joined Borussia Dortmund on loan for the rest of the season.
Erik ten Hag's team sit eighth after a poor start to the season, while Spours are fifth and much more likely to challenge for a top-four finish on current evidence.
Speaking to BetVictor, Redknapp thinks that his old side will edge it.
He said: “I think we’ll see a thriller here. Spurs under Ange Postecoglou are always involved in good games and United have already had a few high-scoring games at Old Trafford.
“United beat Wigan in the FA Cup but when we last saw them in the league, they lost at Nottingham Forest and were awful. I’m curious to see how Jadon Sancho gets on back in Germany, I still can’t believe how that saga all unfolded!
“The big question is how Spurs will cope without Son Heung-min! They’ll obviously miss their skipper, but it’s up to some of the other lads in the side like Richarlison to step up.
“James Maddison isn’t too far away from a return, Ange will be desperate to get him back in as soon as possible. It doesn't matter who and where they play, Spurs will try and attack. Son might not be there, but I still see goals in this Spurs side, and I don’t trust United at the back. I’m leaning towards a 3-2 thriller!”
