It's the international break, but many MLS teams are still in action as the compacted season means games will need to be played wherever they can be.
As such, there are nine matches scheduled for this weekend. The highlight for Canadian fans is the Vancouver Whitecaps vs. Austin FC, with the 'Caps looking to continue their push for a playoff spot. However, with Marc dos Santos no longer the head coach, it remains to be seen how closely the team adheres to the style established during his tenure.
Either way, the Whitecaps will be without a number of players due to the international break, notably starting goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau. The Canadian shotstopper has been a rock at the back for Vancouver, so youngster Thomas Hasal will have big shoes to fill while Crepeau is away.
