Some clubs are more desperate for wins than others at this still-early stage of the campaign, including the likes of Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas and Minnesota. Those four sides make up the bottom two in the Eastern and Western Conferences, respectively, but all could climb out of those unenviable spots with victories this week thanks to early-season bunching of teams in the standings.
Two clubs that could also benefit from some positive momentum ahead of the break are Miami and D.C., who face off in South Florida on Saturday night. Inter fancy themselves a playoff side, and a victory over their fellow East strugglers from the U.S. capital could boost Gonzalo Higuain and Co. above the (very early) playoff line before MLS briefly shuts down.
