The 2022 Major League Soccer season rolls on with Week 11 action.
Getting things started early Saturday is Toronto FC. The Reds are in a massive slump, having lost four straight, and will host Orlando City with an eye on a victory. Toronto's injury and suspension situation has been nothing short of catastrophic over the last few weeks, but Bob Bradley's men will need to overcome that if they are to defeat a good Orlando side.
Later that day, red-hot CF Montreal visits expansion side Charlotte FC with a chance to go to the top of the Eastern Conference with a win and favourable results elsewhere. Charlotte's no pushover at home, however, boasting a 4-1-0 record at Bank of America Stadium.
Canada west coast team, the Vancouver Whitecaps, have suddenly won two straight games in all competitions after besting TFC last weekend before earning a 2-0 win over Valour FC in the Canadian Championship preliminary round on Wednesday. They'll look to use that momentum against the visiting San Jose Earthquakes in a Saturday matinee at BC Place.
The marquee match of the weekend goes to the Philadelphia Union vs. New York Red Bulls, which is a 1 vs. 2 match-up in the Eastern Conference. The Red Bulls have been road warriors so far this season, racking up a perfect 5-0-0 record away from Red Bull Arena.
