The final few days of June are here and MLS has scheduled a truncated midweek set of games to see the month off.
On Wednesday, the top three teams in the Eastern Conference are all on the road as the Philadelphia Union, New York City FC and CF Montreal continue their battle for supremacy. NYCFC will kick off first in Ohio to face an FC Cincinnati side that's just six points off the Eastern summit.
The Union are up next, visiting a dire Chicago Fire side that's dead last in the conference and in desperate need of a victory. Finally, Montreal will cross the continent to meet the Seattle Sounders, a team that has struggled against the Quebec club for their entire existence in MLS.
Meanwhile in the West, Gareth Bale's new club, LAFC, are red-hot atop the conference (and entire league). Bale won't be eligible to suit up for LAFC until the second week of July, but the team will look to continue their torrid form when hosting FC Dallas.
