Nantes are looking to pull off a long shot as they host Juventus for the second leg of their Europa League knockout round play-off on Thursday.

The French side went to Turin last week and held the Bianconeri to a 1-1 draw, setting them up for a possible huge upset in this week's match. Nantes haven't won a knockout stage tie in a major European tournament in over 20 years, with a 2000-01 UEFA Cup round of 32 victory over Lausanne-Sport the most recent occurrence.

Of course, Juve are far more familiar with success on both the domestic and continental stages, having dominated Serie A for much of this century and boasting two Champions League and three UEFA Cup titles in their trophy case. Things are much more grim this season for Juventus, who are seventh in the Italian league and could be one result away from being eliminated from Europe by the 13th-place team in Ligue 1.
