The Scottish talisman will be a wanted man.

Scott McTominay is set to be one of Scotland's key players ahead of their Euros campaign opener on Friday, but there is speculation over his club future once the tournament is over.

The midfielder's current deal with Man United only has one more year left, and despite enjoying his best campaign with the club last season, he has yet to sign a new contract.

Speaking to NewBettingOffers.co.uk, former Scotland international Pat Nevin believes McTominay should have no concerns about his next move because there'll be plenty of interest in the 27-year-old.

“I don’t think Scott McTominay has to worry about his contract next year at Manchester United off the back of the Euros - there are a hell of lot of teams out there that would take him," said Nevin.

“You can imagine him playing at a team like Everton - he could be such a core member of that team. There are plenty of teams throughout the Premier League that would love McTominay, so he doesn’t need to worry.

“I’m sure he’d love to stay at United but maybe he could do with playing at another team that plays him in the right position. I don’t think United played him in his right position for a long, long time and then Steve Clarke played him there and he went on a run of scoring goals.

“It’s tough at United, though, they’ve got so many great players – people like Bruno Fernandes – but if he can play in that more advanced role that gives him a few more chances at goal, that’s where he’s most dangerous."
