Patrik Berger believes that Jurgen Klopp’s departure could lead to huge problems at Liverpool.
Liverpool manager Klopp said that he would leave at the end of the season after growing fatigued in the role.
That has led the side to look for a replacement, and Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso has decided to stay on at his current club, but
“Berger, who was speaking to BoyleSports about the latest Premier League odds, said "Of course there are concerns Liverpool will struggle like Man United after Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement, there is no one like that in the world who can come in and do a job even remotely similar to Jurgen Klopp.
"It is going to be tough, because he is leaving behind a very good team that doesn't need to change too much.
"So even though there is a very good team there, a team that knows how to win trophies and play attractive football, it is all about the chemistry between the new manager and the team and what that is like.“It will be a tough job to replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, put it that way!”
