The Polish are in Group C with Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Argentina, and Wednesday's friendly against another Latin American side in Chile is seen as good preparation for their upcoming World Cup opponents. Led by striker Robert Lewandowski, Poland boast a side filled with players from Europe's top five leagues, with the bulk of the squad plying their trade in Serie A.
Meanwhile, the Chileans missed out on Qatar after a disappointing qualification campaign that saw them finish seventh in CONMEBOL's marathon tournament, but they are still seen as a quality side that should give their hosts a good test.
