The final matchday of the 2021-22 Premier League season is here, and there are no shortage of narratives heading into an action-packed Sunday.
Most eyes will be on the title chase, which has been a two-horse race between Manchester City and Liverpool for months now. The teams are separated by just a single point, with City holding the advantage ahead of a match against visiting Aston Villa. Meanwhile, Liverpool hosts Wolves needing a win and a slip-up by the Sky Blues if they are to realize their dream of leapfrogging into first place on the final day.
The second-biggest race is for the European places, with Tottenham and Arsenal two points apart. The Gunners held their own destiny in their hands just a few short weeks ago, but a dip in form accompanied by a Spurs surge means Tottenham are odds-on favourites to grab the final Champions League berth on offer.
Elsewhere, Manchester United will look to hold on to their Europa League spot, with a win sealing it. West Ham is next in line and would love nothing more than to knock to Red Devils down another peg.
At the bottom of the table, two of the three relegated teams have been decided, leaving one of Leeds United or Burnley to fall to the Championship after the final whistle on Sunday.
