The fixtures just keep coming as Matchday 14 of the 2020-21 Premier League season kicks off less than 48 hours after some teams were last in action.
With this being a weekend matchday, the kickoff times are more familiar than they were in midweek. There are no overlapping games, but there will definitely be some tired teams.
It all starts with Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool early Saturday, with the Reds embroiled in a title race while battling a seemingly neverending injury crisis. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been publicly critical of the Premier League's compressed December schedule, and another game so quickly after Wednesday's will do little to change his stance.
Regardless, the points count the same no matter how much rest the teams receive, so expect Klopp to continue to put out a strong lineup throughout the month.
Meanwhile, fellow title contenders Tottenham and Leicester face-off in North London on Sunday for the weekend's marquee match.
