The long-awaited return is finally here. The Premier League is set to restart after a three-month hiatus from action due to the coronavirus pandemic.
After the two games on Wednesday, all 20 top teams will have nine games left to play in the 2020 season. All games will be played behind closed doors, and fixtures will be packed through July to get in a full season of matches.
Liverpool sits atop of the EPL standings with a healthy lead on the competition. The Reds have 27 wins to only one draw and one loss on the season. They have a 25 point lead in the standings over second-place Manchester City. The EPL will pick back up with Matchday 30, starting June 19.
