Group F of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League gets underway Tuesday, with Paris Saint-Germain hosting Borussia Dortmund in one of the matches.
PSG are expected to once again challenge for, if not win, the Ligue 1 title, but they suffered their first league match of the young campaign on Friday as they fell 3-2 to visiting Nice.
That loss sees the Parisian side into third place in the standings, no doubt a temporary setback, but it could have a negative effect on their preparation and mindest ahead of Tuesday's UCL fixture.
Meanwhile, Dortmund were full value for their 4-2 Bundesliga victory at SC Freiburg on Saturday but they were made to work for the three points, overcoming a halftime deficit en route to the win. Dortmund are undefeated so far in the young season (two wins, two draws) and would like to keep it that way.
