Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has dimissed any speculation regarding Karim Benzema's move to Saudi Arabia.
The French star has recently been linked with the Saudi Arabian champions Al Ittihad this Summer and it looked to set to be made official with Benzema telling Real Madrid president Florentino Perez that he intended to take up the offer.
However, the 35-year-old has since changed his mind and will now be staying at Madrid for one more season.
Speaking ahead of Madrid's final game of the season against Athletic Club, Ancelotti responded to questions about Benzema's future and believes that the 2022 Ballon d'Or will play out his final years at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"I agree with Karim, internet is not the reality," Ancelotti said when addressing the recent speculation on Benzema's future with Los Blancos.
"Benzema has one more year of contract with Real Madrid until 2024 and we have no doubts. I think it's clear.
"The legends of this club have to retire at Real Madrid. This is what I believe and what the club believes. But the player maybe doesn't think the same."
