Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti received the Men's Coach of the Year award at Monday's Ballon d'Or ceremony.

Ancelotti, along with star forward Vinicius Junior who is in contention for the Men's Player of the Year award, decided to not make the trip to Paris.
This meant that no acceptance speech was made by Ancelotti, either in person or by video when receiving his Coach of the Year award.
