The two teams who were victorious in Group A's Matchday 1 fixtures in the Europa League go head-to-head as SC Freiburg host West Ham United on Thursday.
The teams are in similar position in their respective domestic leagues, with Freiburg eighth in the Bundesliga while West Ham occupy seventh place on the Premier League table.
Both sides are coming off victories over the weekend, and they are separated at the top of their group solely by goal difference.
With so little between them, fans can expect a closely contested match on Thursday.
"We’re playing against a really good team who have had excellent success in the Bundesliga in the last couple of years and have also done really well in Europe too," West Ham manager David Moyes said.
"They have a manager (Christian Streich) who has been in place for a long time and that stability goes a long way. They’ve certainly shown that at this club, they may not be the biggest household name in Germany but they’ve certainly grown as a football club and got themselves in a really good position."
