A.C. Milan should feel lucky to still be sitting in first place in Serie A heading into Matchday 13.

Milan's fortune comes even more into focus when considering that the stalemate came against a Genoa team that started Wednesday tied for dead last in the league.
Regardless of the circumstances, Milan remains in first ahead of the latest round of matches. The league-leading club will face a tougher challenge on Saturday as it visits Sassuolo, although Milan could be bolstered by Zlatan Ibrahimovic's return after the 39-year-old missed several games with a thigh injury.
