The first Serie A matchday of February kicks off with the Milan clubs still fighting for supremacy at the top of the table.
A.C. Milan enters the weekend with a two-point advantage over its intra-city rival, Inter Milan, although the Rossoneri haven't looked the dominant team of late that they have been for most of the campaign. Milan won its most recent match (a 2-1 victory at Bologna), but had lost the previous two — a chippy Coppa Italia defeat to Inter and a 3-0 Serie A humbling by Atalanta.
Milan's still the team to beat in the Italian top flight despite the recent drop in form, and on Sunday Crotone will visit the San Siro with that in mind.
Before that happens, Juventus will host Roma on Saturday in the match of the weekend. The two sides are just a point apart (Roma 40, Juventus 39) and are both still close enough to catch the Milan duo with a good stretch of results.
