Inter Milan enters Matchday 34 with one hand on the Serie A title.
The Nerazzurri hold a commanding 11-point lead over second-place Atalanta in the race to the Scudetto, with a visit to bottom club Crotone on the immediate horizon. Mired in 20th place with just 18 points from 33 matches, Crotone's destined for relegation, and should make for light work for Inter — as long as Antonio Conte's men remain humble for Saturday's match.
With Inter all-but crowned champion, the real race will play out for Italy's European berths, as just two points separate second through fifth place, while sixth-place Lazio is still very much in contention for the Champions League and Europa League spots.
Perhaps most interesting is A.C. Milan's rapid descent to fifth place. The Rossoneri led the entire league at the turn of the calendar year, but an extended run of poor form saw them first concede the lead to Inter before eventually also getting passed by Atalanta, Napoli and Juventus.
Milan's still within reach of a guaranteed UCL berth, but a positive result at Beneveto on Saturday is a must.
