The 2020-21 Serie A season is set to start just seven weeks after the previous campaign ended.
As with other leagues around Europe, Serie A will have to begin its latest season later than usual thanks to delays forced by the global coronavirus pandemic. It means that this year's competition will begin almost a month later than it did in the previous season, and will push later into spring than is the norm.
Regardless, Italy's top tier is ready to go again after a short hiatus. Three new teams will join 16 others in an attempt to dethrone Juventus for the first time in a decade.
