After three months of painstaking silence, Serie A has returned to bring excitement back to the lives of fans.
This year's title race is as close as its been in recent years. Perennial favorite Juventus still sits atop the table with 63 points in 26 matches played, but Lazio isn't far behind in second with 62 points.
The action resumed on Saturday, with Torino and Parma playing to a 1-1 draw, and Verona topping Cagliari 2-1.
On Sunday, Inter Milan picked up three points with a 2-1 win over Sampdoria, putting them only six points back of Juventus. Atalanta beat Sassuolo 4-1 in Sunday's other game.
Lazio's Ciro Immobile leads the golden boot race with 27 goals, while Cristiano Ronaldo has 21 goals in 22 games for Juventus.
