A.C. Milan remains undefeated in Serie A heading into Matchday 7.
The Rossoneri have five wins and a draw ahead of Sunday's meeting with Verona, and they're favoured to continue their hot streak for at least another week. Not that Verona is a pushover, mind you — the Gialloblu entered the weekend in seventh place thanks mostly to a stout defence that has allowed a league-best three goals through six matches.
The Verona back line will face its stiffest test yet if Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in Milan's lineup, however. The 39-year-old leads Serie A with seven goals despite only making four appearances thus far in 2020-21.
Elsewhere, Juventus looks to keep the pressure on Milan and second-place Sassuolo with a win against Lazio on Sunday. Additionally, the marquee match of the week looks to be Atalanta vs. Inter (Sunday, 9 a.m.), as both sides started Matchday 7 inside the top six.
