The November international break ends with A.C. Milan on top of Serie A.
The Rossoneri have been near perfect through seven matches thus far, with a pair of draws their only blemish. Milan's most recent draw came just ahead of the break, allowing the likes of Sassuolo, Napoli, Roma and Juventus to either keep pace or pull closer to the top spot. On Matchday 8, Milan takes on one of its primary challengers as Napoli plays host to the league leader with just three points separating the two sides.
Perennial challenger (and usual champion) Juventus has an easier task over the weekend — on paper, at least — as the Bianconeri host 11th-place Cagliari on Saturday. A win could thrust Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. to as high as second on the table.
Elsewhere, Sassuolo and Roma aim to keep hold of their Top 5 standing with good results against Verona and Parma, respectively.
