The Premier League season may only be two games old, but already bold predictions are being made about what will happen if certain managers don't meet expectations.
One of those bosses could be Eddie Howe, who is under pressure to fire Newcastle back into Europe this season following their failure to do so last campaign.
Speaking on William Hill's new podcast, Three Up Front, Simon Jordan believes that if Howe does not deliver a European place, it could lead to him losing his job at St James' Park.
He said: “If Newcastle were to have another season like their last, Eddie Howe will not be there at the start of next year.
“They desperately need to bounce back this season. The expectations have been raised of the players and the manager. - last year was very disappointing. For a club that has that financial might behind it with very ambitious owners, they will expect Champions League football again.”
