Alphonso Davies is fast.

The Canadian teenager has become a household name in short order thanks to his blazing speed and incredible work rate. But Davies didn't truly burst onto the global soccer scene until February, when Bayern Munich travelled to London to face Chelsea in a UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match. The Bayern youngster lined up in his now usual left-back position and terrorized the Blues with his marauding runs up and down the field.

The game became something of a coming out party for Davies, who punctuated the occasion with a 60-yard sprint to set up teammate Robert Lewandowski for a relatively easy finish.

Despite not actually scoring in the 3-0 victory, Davies was still the talk of the soccer world in the immediate aftermath. He reached over 35 kilometres per hour in one of his defence-shredding runs, and has since topped that to become the fastest-ever player in the Bundesliga after he topped 36 km/h in June.

Steve Nash and Stu Holden were never speedsters in their respective athletic careers, but both relished the opportunity to recreate Davies' blistering runs from his match at Stamford Bridge. Fellow Canadian Nash and former Premier Leaguer Holden have been duplicating iconic moments from Champions Leagues past, including a famed 2014 Sergio Ramos header, a Cristiano Ronaldo bicycle kick against Juventus in 2018, an inch-perfect 2019 Lionel Messi free kick and Neymar's famous Rabona against Arsenal in 2016.

Now the guys get to add an already-iconic moment from 2020 by grabbing a speed gun and attempting to channel their inner Roadrunner and emulate Davies' world-class pace.
