Next up in their series of recreating famous Champions League goals, Nash and Holden attempt to duplicate one of the former Real Madrid star's most famous strikes.

Jumping into a pool wasn't enough for Steve Nash and Stu Holden.

After recreating Sergio Ramos' dramatic stoppage time header from the 2014 UEFA Champions League final, Nash and Holden move on to another iconic player's signature goal: Cristiano Ronaldo's bicycle kick against Juventus in 2018.

Ronaldo's audacious overhead strike was part of a dominant performance by the superstar as he led Real Madrid to a 3-0 victory in the first leg of the quarterfinals with a pair of goals at Juventus Stadium. Ronaldo would join Juve just a few months later in a Serie A record transfer — and one has to wonder just how much his commanding display in Turin had to do with the move.

The goal itself went viral almost immediately, with YouTube views in the millions. It was a display of the Portuguese star's overwhelming athleticism and brilliance, and it came about at the end of a mad scramble in the Juventus goalmouth that saw goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon pull off an impressive save just moments before Ronaldo buried it from near the penalty spot.

Of course, the stakes aren't nearly as high for Nash and Holden. But after (finally) pulling off a replication of Ramos' 2014 header in Holden's backyard pool, another creative recreation was needed for the Ronaldo goal.

The guys took their talents to Manhattan Beach, Calif., where the challenge was made to duplicate Ronaldo's theatrics using a ball and a lifeguard hut. After a few painful-looking misfires, Holden connected with a Nash cross and executed a picture-perfect bicyle kick to complete the challenge. The former USMNT midfielder then took it one step further, imitating Ronaldo's trademark goal celebration to cap off a successful attempt.
