Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O'Hara has branded Chelsea 'disgraceful.'
Under new manager Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea are 10th in the Premier League table. They have also lost their Carabao Cup semi-final first leg to Middlesbrough.
After a difficult 2022-23 season, the Blues had hoped for a turnaround Pochettino. However, that has yet to materialise.
Speaking to Grosvenor Sport, O'Hara hit out at the West London club. O'Hara said, "They’ve been disgraceful this season – they’ve absolutely messed it up, and these players aren’t getting any better anytime soon.
"Forget potential and what they’re ‘going to be’ doing in a few years; they haven’t got the mentality to accomplish anything or be successful. They’re going to be where they are for a very long time."
Furthermore, O'Hara has criticised the appointment of Conor Gallagher as captain on Tuesday night, saying, "Connor Gallagher is a good player, but captain of Chelsea? One of the most successful football clubs in the world? Come on!"
