Euro 2024 may not even be over, but Premier League clubs have already started to splash the cash ahead of the new season starting next month.
One of the most eye-catching deals so far has been Tottenham's capture of Leeds United's young teenager Archie Gray.
Spurs have paid £30 million to prize the prospect away from Elland Road and will be one to watch in the top flight next season.
Sharing his excitement over the signing, former Tottenham striker Teddy Sheringham told Online Poker how pleased he was with the deal—even at the high price they paid for him.
“It’s a big money signing, that’s for sure,” he said.
“Having said that, sure he’ll be great and he’s an exciting young talent who can play in a number of different positions.
“I’m delighted for the lad and hopefully he can kick on for Tottenham, I bet he can’t wait for the season to start. I watched him at Leeds last season and he definitely has a bit about him, so good luck to him!”
