Paris Saint-Germain were 4-1 winners in their Champions League round of 16 first-leg match against Barcelona at Camp Nou on Tuesday, and Kylian Mbappe was the star of the night.
The French international scored three times to power his side to victory after PSG had fallen behind 1-0 early thanks to a Lionel Messi penalty kick. Mbappe's class was on full display as he proved a handful throughout the match, and the 22-year-old found several different ways to inflict damage on the Catalans.
As good as he was at getting past his defenders, it was the goals that changed the match. Mbappe's pace and opportunism created the first pair of goals, which saw the PSG attacker at the right place at the right time on each strike. The third goal was a masterful curling effort from long range that was as good as any Mbappe has scored during his impressive career thus far.
