Wolfsburg and Paris Saint-Germain played to a 1-1 draw on Thursday in the second leg of their 2022-23 UEFA Women's Champions League quarter-final.
The result means Wolfsburg advance to the semis, after they earned a 1-0 win in Paris last week.
Thursday's match was as tight as the scoreline suggested, with possession nearly evenly split between the two sides and the Germans posting one fewer shot than their visitors. Even the goals were scored in relatively quick succession, with Alexandra Popp putting the hosts up in the 20th minute and PSG responding via a 30th-minute strike by Kadidiatou Diani.
Despite a late push by the visiting side, Wolfsburg were able to hold on to the draw — and the aggregate victory that accompanied it.
The German side are into the UWCL semi-finals for the third time in four years.
