The best of the weekend on DAZN.

Welcome to Your Weekend on DAZN, where we pick out the best and biggest action for you to enjoy live and for free on our platform. There’s no Liga F action this week as the Copa De Reina returns, and Germany’s eyes are on the DFB Pokal Frauen, but there are still key clashes in France and England, as well as Coppa Italia Femminile clashes as we start March-ing towards the end of the season.

D1 Arkema:

As we return from the international break, the top of the table looks all but decided with Lyon leading the way and PSG holding a comfortable gap to rivals Paris FC. That leaves the battle for fourth wide open with Montpellier, Stade de Reims, FC Fleury 91 and Saint-Etienne all eyeing up this accolade.

Game of the Weekend: Fleury 91 vs Stade de Reims - Sat. 2nd, 07:30am ET/12:30 CET

Both Fleury and Reims have enjoyed solid seasons so far, but patchy recent form sees them come into this clash with one win in five. Fabrice Abriel’s side triumphed in a tense and tight 0-1 away win earlier in the season and they will look to do the double over their opponents at Stade Auguste Gentelet this weekend to put themselves right on Montpellier’s tail. However, Amandine Miquel’s side also knows a victory could propel them into fourth and leave them well-placed for their remaining fixtures.

Best of the Rest: Dijon FCO vs Ol. Lyonnais - Sun. 3rd, 15:00pm ET/21:00 CET

dijon

Sonia Bompastor’s future might be up in the air, but Les Fenottes continue to dominate domestically. The defending champions return to action knowing that they can complete the impressive accolade of staying unbeaten all season if they don’t drop points. Lowly Dijon are still facing relegation worries and a hefty loss could be brutal for their goal difference.

Coppa Italia Femminile:

Four sides with contrasting fortunes remain as the first legs of the Italian Cup semi-finals get underway. AS Roma are chasing a likely domestic double to cement their dynasty, Juventus want to defend their title to restore their pride, Fiorentina are looking for the first building blocks of something special and AC Milan could flip the narrative on a disappointing season. Who will take the initiative and seize control of their tie?

Game of the Weekend: Fiorentina vs Juventus, Sun. 3rd, 09:00am ET/15:00pm CET

La Viola’s patchy end to the regular season somewhat overshadowed the excellent consistency that saw them claim a very credible third spot. Patrizio Panico’s side are looking to reach the final to secure the Coppa Italia for the first time since 2017-18, but they won’t have an easy time against Joe Montemurro’s Juventus. The Old Lady won in Florence in the league back in October, and they will hope to repeat this feat to give them a strong foothold ahead of next week’s 2nd leg as they bid to retain the trophy for a third season.

Best of the Rest: AC Milan vs AS Roma, Sun. 3rd, 06:30am ET/12:30pm CET

After a strong transfer window last summer, a lot was expected of Milan this season. However, extremely erratic performances and significant struggles in front of the goal led to a disappointing sixth-place regular season finish. The Rossonere do have a chance for their first-ever trophy if they can see off the current league Champions, but Alessandro Spugna’s side are smelling blood and will be keen to make it third time lucky after two consecutive losses in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 finals.

Women’s Super League

After a dramatic and controversial final matchday before the international break, the top three clubs are now all separated by just three points. With all three in action this weekend, can someone seize control of one of the tightest title races in years? Or could a surprise upset arrive from a shock source and completely tilt the balance?

Game of the Weekend: Arsenal vs Tottenham, Sun. 3rd, 07:30am ET/13:30pm CET

nld

The third North London Derby of the season in all competitions once again sees these two great rivals lock horns, this time at the Emirates. Jonas Eidevall’s outfit will be out for revenge after Spurs inflicted a first-ever WSL NLD defeat on them in December, but they will need to cope with a heavily depleted squad due to injuries and international duty. On the flipside, Robert Vilahamn’s Lilywhites have gained plenty of plaudits this season and Grace Clinton will be eager to impress again in a big game. Can they do the double over their much more illustrious neighbours and stun the home crowd?

Best of the Rest: Leicester City vs Chelsea, Sun 3rd, 13:00 ET/19:00 CET

As Emma Hayes approaches her final few months in charge, the four-time defending champions need a reaction after losing to Manchester City at Kingsmeadow. With no Lauren James, Fran Kirby or Sam Kerr, will Guro Reiten once again step up to haunt the Foxes having grabbed five goal involvements in the same fixture last season? Willie Kirk’s side often bear the brunt of rage from the Blues and will be desperate to ensure they don’t concede over five goals for the sixth fixture in a row against Chelsea.
