Welcome to your weekend on DAZN. Once more, sit back and relax as we take a whistle-stop tour through the major action in all the top European leagues, live for free over the Easter weekend. In France, Montpellier have a great chance to leapfrog into 4th and put pressure on their rivals, whilst Bayern need to see off a recent Frankfurt resurgence to cement their gap at the top. Juventus are looking for payback in Italy, Barcelona can take another step towards an unbeaten season and in England, the first piece of silverware is up for grabs in Wolverhampton.
Let’s get into the action.
D1 Arkema:
Both Lyon and PSG continued their excellent form domestically last weekend and the two are set to meet in a blockbuster UWCL semi-final. There is still a comfy gap to Paris FC in third place, which means Montpellier, Reims and Fleury are fighting it out for fourth spot. At the bottom, neither Bordeaux nor LOSC Lille have been able to capitalise on Guingamp and Le Havre’s patchy form and their fates are close to being sealed.
Game of the Weekend: Paris FC vs Montpellier, Fri, 29th, 3:00pm ET/9:00pm CET
The hosts know another win will practically guarantee them another shot at UWCL football next season, but they slipped up last time out against Fleury. This pushed Montpellier down the table in their fierce fight for ‘Best of the Rest’ in D1. Can Frédéric Mendy’s team pick up a big 3 points in Paris to put pressure on their rivals before they all play this weekend?
Best of the Rest: Olympique Lyonnais vs Le Havre AC , Sun, 31st, 3:00pm ET/9:00pm CET
Sonia Bompastor’s OL have reached yet another European semi-final as their hopes of a blockbuster end of the season continue to swell. Les Fenottes host a Le Havre side that should be safe from relegation, however, they will want a couple more points on the board to be sure. With just 4 fixtures left and a seven-point gap over PSG, the defending Champions could seal the title as early as this Sunday if results fall their way.

DFB Pokal Frauen:
The table-topping clash between Bayern and Wolfsburg turned into a rout as the visitors drubbed Tommy Stroot’s She-Wolves to open up a 7-point gap at the top. With just 5 matches left, the Bavarians are closing in on a 2nd title in a row. At the bottom, Duisburg’s miserable season sees them sitting rock bottom and relegation is now a matter of when, not if. For now, attention turns to the DFB Pokal Frauen up Semi-Finals.
Game of the Weekend: Bayern Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt, Sun, 31st, 09:45am ET/15:45 CET
The hosts drubbed the She-Wolves last weekend to move themselves one step closer to claiming another Frauen Bundesliga. Alexander Straus’s side now faces Eintracht Frankfurt with a place in the final at stake. The Eagles meanwhile have arrested their recent slump to reignite their UWCL hopes domestically, and will be keen to garnish their season with silverware too.
Best of the Rest: Wolfsburg vs SGS Essen, Sat, 30th, 07:00am ET/1:00pm CET
The Greens have endured a dismal season so far, with an ignominious UWCL exit and a thrashing at the hands of their fiercest rivals. They need to recover their form quickly and a good result against SGS Essen should give them some relief. However, Markus Högner’s side sits comfortably in mid-table and will be looking to inflict more pain on the stricken Die Wölfinnen.

Serie A Femminile:
AS Roma continues to march towards a 2nd consecutive title, which means Juventus, Fiorentina and the rest are playing for pride in the Championship Playoff round. In the relegation playoffs, Napoli and Pomigliano continue to trade places and scrap to avoid the dreaded automatic drop.
Game of the Weekend: Juventus vs Fiorentina, Sat, 30th, 09:00am ET/15:00 CET
Revenge or repeat? The Old Lady will be keen to show their visitors who are the real bosses after being unceremoniously dumped out of the Coppa Italia at their hands. League life post-Joe Montemurro so far is unbeaten, but also without a win too. La Viola’s priority will be a cup-final clash against AS Roma, but they do sit just 3 points behind Juve and a win this weekend could put them in the conversation for second place.
Best of the Rest: Como vs AC Milan, Sat, 30th, 12:00pm ET/6:00pm CET
A disappointing season for the Milanese has seen them occupying the top spot of the relegation round, but with how tight it is at the bottom, failure to win in Como could see the visitors or Sampdoria claim top spot by the end of the proceedings. Como have enjoyed an erratic season themselves, but with a 15-point gap to Napoli, they can prepare for another season in Serie A.

Liga F:
Barcelona’s impervious record in the league continues as they creep ever closer to scoring 100 goals in the season. They hold a 12-point gap over Real Madrid after a comprehensive La Classica win and the title race has been a procession for some time. The battle for 3rd has heated up, however, and the relegation race is still incredibly tense.
Game of the Weekend: Levante UD vs FC Barcelona, Sun., 31st, 12:00pm ET/6:00pm CET
Despite being frustrated for long spells by SK Brann, Barcelona once again progressed in the UWCL to face familiar opposition. For now, attention turns back to domestic activities as Jonatan Giráldez aims to end his spell in charge of La Blaugrana with another unbeaten season. Hosts Levante sit in 3rd, but have struggled for consistency and losing key attacker Mayra Ramírez in January has not helped at all.
Best of the Rest: Villarreal CF vs Real Madrid , Sat., 30th, 1:00pm ET/7:00pm CET
The Yellow Submarine have failed to win in their last four games, which has dragged them towards murky waters. With just 6 points separating them from potential relegation troubles, they will be keen to get back on track. It won’t be easy against Real Madrid, however, who are licking their wounds after yet another loss to Barcelona. Can Alberto Toril’s side stave off any threat of losing the runner-up spot by increasing their gap to the chasing pack?

Women’s Super League and Continental League Cup:
Contentious refereeing ruled the roost and helped influence 3 key clashes last weekend, as Chelsea and City remain neck-a-neck at the top of the table. With the Blues not playing this weekend due to their domestic cup final duties, it gives a great chance for Manchester City to put real pressure on them by claiming a clear lead - at least for now.
Game of the Weekend: Arsenal vs Chelsea , Sun., 31st, 10:00am ET/4:00pm CET
The first trophy is up for grabs in England this weekend, with Arsenal looking to repeat the feat they managed 12 months ago against the same opponents. Jonas Eidevall’s side were comprehensively outclassed at Stamford Bridge recently but will be keen to deny Emma Hayes the first stage of a dream quadruple to end her career at the defending WSL Champions, who booked another date with destiny against FC Barcelona this week too. With at least 24,000 fans packed into Molineux, it should be another good atmosphere too.

Best of the Rest: Liverpool vs Manchester City , Sat. 30th, 07:30am ET/1:30pm CET
The hosts are enjoying a fine season under Matt Beard and the Reds will know victory in the early clash will ensure they at least temporarily climb into 4th over fierce rivals Manchester United. However, Gareth Taylor’s Citizens are flying, and are looking for a 12th WSL win on the bounce. They thrashed Liverpool at the Joie Stadium earlier in the season and will be keen to go 3 points clear in their quest for the title.
