The young Canadians look to continue making history.

For the first time ever, there are two Canadian men in the quarterfinals at Wimbledon.

Denis Shapovalov and Felix Auger-Aliassime both find themselves in the final eight after great runs through the famed tournament so far, and they'll look to continue their positive play on Wednesday with a pair of tough quarterfinal match-ups.

Shapovalov, who entered the tournament ranked No. 12 in the world, has already dispatched the likes of Andy Murray and Roberto Bautista Agut, and now faces Russia's Karen Khachanov. The Canadian won the only previous meeting between the two players, a Davis Cup fixture back in 2019.

Meanwhile 19th-ranked Auger-Aliassime will meet Matteo Berrettini of Italy after a gruelling five-set round of 16 battle against Alexander Zverev. World No. 9 Berrettini defeated the young Montrealer when they faced off in the final of the 2019 Stuttgart Open (also on grass), so Auger-Aliassime has the opportunity to exact a bit of revenge on Wednesday while also advancing to the semifinals of the biggest tournament in the world.
