Bianca Andreescu returns to the court this week for the first time since the U.S. Open.
The Canadian star is among the seeds at the Chicago Fall Tennis Classic, a WTA 500 event making its debut on tour.
Andreescu was bounced in the round of 16 stage of the U.S. Open by Maria Sakkari — who lost to eventual champion Emma Raducanu in the semis — and now looks to get back to winning ways at the new tournament.
As the No. 8 seed, Andreescu earned a first-round bye and was placed directly into the round of 32.
