Tony Khan has heaped praise on a wrestling fan and even credited the person for influencing his booking style.
Since launching AEW in 2019, Khan has received widespread acclaim for the way he presents his wrestling vision, with his company being the location for numerous impressive matches and angles.
On a recent episode of Collision, a large portion of the broadcast featured wrestlers possessing the high-flying Lucha Libre style.
Rey Fenix and Penta were in action and the show also featured Gravity and Aero Star going up against Bullet Club Gold. The Lucha-influenced happenings prompted Luchablog to tweet ‘It turns out I’m booking Collision now.’

“A lot of what I learned about Lucha Libre, I learned from your blog,” responded Khan on Twitter.
“In 2002 I started watching a lot of lucha on satellite + tapes, and read your blog + DVDVR to catch up and learn. So you've definitely been a major influence in my promoting + matchmaking choices!”
