Is Matt Hardy heading back to WWE?
The current AEW wrestler currently finds himself a long way from the main event scene and with Tony Khan recently bolstering his numbers with the signings of Will Ospreay and Kazuchika Okada, Hardy is likely to fall further down the pecking order.
On the March 18 episode of Raw, Hardy was in attendance with his wife leading to wide speculation that he could be heading back to the company where he made his name.
As well as being in attendance, Michael Cole also referenced Hardy on commentary when discussing Brother vs. Brother matches at WrestleMania.
As a performer in WWE, Hardy, alongside his brother Jeff, re-energised the company’s tag team division with numerous high-profile matches.
He would join AEW in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic but his run has been underwhelming so far.
Could a move back to WWE provide Hardy with the boost his career needs?
