The wrestling world is still coming to terms with the death of Windham Rotunda, the WWE star also known as Bray Wyatt, who died unexpectedly on Thursday.

While Rotunda became a key figure in the industry due to his time in WWE, personalities from other organizations have also paid tribute to him in the days since his death, and on Sunday Renee Paquette added her voice with a pointed tribute.

While hosting the "Zero Hour" pre-show live from Wembley Stadium ahead of AEW All In, Paquette quoted an August 2022 Instagram post by Rotunda that has made the rounds again since his passing.

"To quote Windham Rotunda," Paquette said to lead off the show, "Wrestling is not a love story, it's a fairy tale for masochists. A comedy for people who criticize punchlines. A fantasy most can't understand, a spectacle no one can deny."

Longtime wrestling personality Paquette worked in WWE from 2012 until 2020, with most of those years overlapping Rotunda's time in the company. She had previously posted a photo of herself with Rotunda and WWE executive Stephanie McMahon on Instagram within hours of Rotunda's death.
