Darby Allin has one goal for his tag team match with Sting at AEW Revolution next month - to make it a memorable finale for the wrestling icon.

Allin and Sting will put their AEW Tag Team Championships on the line when they face the Young Bucks in a match that will bring down the curtain on one of the greatest performers the industry has ever seen.

Sting has been part of wrestling's fabric since the 1980s, but the 64-year-old will hang up his boots after the tornado tag bout, and talking exclusively to DAZN's Tom Scarborough, Allin revealed he wants to make sure the Stinger goes out on a high.

"That's the goal for us. The most important part of any career is the finale," said Allin.

"You have to live with that. If the match goes south or badly, you live with the thought of, 'Oh man, I wish things had gone better,' there's a lot of pressure that goes into that.

It's very important for me to be part of it. I'll stop at nothing to make sure his career ends on a high note, and he'll stop at nothing to make sure his career ends on a high note. When you've got both of us out there ready to risk it all, dude, I'm excited."

Allin also revealed that Sting has been part of his life since first seeing him as a five-year-old fan, and how surreal it is to be the wrestling legend's tag team partner.

Adding: "I always remember being like five years old and watching him and then having his action figures. It sounds a little corny, but for as far back as I can remember, he's always been part of my life. It wasn't like I had discovered him when I was 15; I always remember him being there.

"It is surreal. The best part about it is that he's the coolest person outside of it. He's just so cool and chill - he forgets he's Sting sometimes. He's so grounded and I couldn't have been paired up with a better legend than him."

AEW Revolution takes place on March 3 from the Greensboro Coliseum
