The aftermath of Shayna Baszler defeating Ronda Rousey by a technical submission at SummerSlam 2023 on Saturday night, might have triggered Rousey to contemplating her future.
On Monday, Rousey took to her Instagram account and posted seven images of her fight with Baszler.
Accompanying the gallery of photos was the caption: "@qosbaszler you were the reason I got into this business… Now I got no reason to stay."
Was that a hint toward retirement? Sure sounds like it.
If so, Rousey accomplished being a Raw Women's Champion, having defeated the likes of Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Nikki Bella.
The former UFC bantamweight women's champion also was a former two-time SmackDown Women's Champion and WWE Women's Tag Team Champion with Baszler, before Baszler turned on Rousey at WWE Money in The Bank last month and defeated her at SummerSlam this past weekend.
