Becky Lynch has become one of the most popular wrestlers in the world.
DAZN looks at the career accomplishments of the Irish superstar.
Who is Becky Lynch?
Like many, Becky Lynch caught the wrestling bug early.
Born Rebecca Quin in Ireland, Lynch was first introduced to the sport while watching it on television as a child, and at 15 years old she started training for the profession that would define her.
Lynch started out on the independent circuit at 18, travelling to North America to find her footing in various promotions. Fighting as Rebecca Knox, Lynch found success in Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling (ECCW) as the inaugural champion of that company's SuperGirls Wrestling off-shoot.
She featured in several different promotions in 2005 and 2006 until a head injury caused Lynch to take a multi-year hiatus from the sport, only appearing sporadically until 2013.
It was that year that Lynch joined WWE on a development contract, and she immediately relocated to Florida to cut her teeth in NXT (where the Becky Lynch persona was born). While Lynch didn't win the NXT Women's Championship during her time there, she made enough of an impression to be called up to the main WWE roster in 2015 alongside NXT grads Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks.
Lynch wasn't thrust into the women's title picture as quickly as Flair or Banks were, but once she got there, she stayed there. She became the first SmackDown Women's Champion in 2016, and has since won the Raw Women's title twice (and has also held the tag team titles).
