How many championships/titles has Chris Jericho won? Full list of career titles and accomplishmentsAEW

Chris Jericho's impact on the professional wrestling world is one that cannot be overstated.

DAZN  looks at the career accomplishments of the Canadian star.

Who is Chris Jericho?

Born Chris Irvine in 1970, Chris Jericho seemed destined for athletic stardom from the outset.

The son of former New York Rangers player Ted Irvine, Jericho followed his father's footsteps in performing at arenas all over North America (and, later, the world), but Jericho would do so as a professional wrestler.

Jericho was born in the New York City area while his father was still playing in the NHL, and the family moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, following Ted's playing days. It was in the Canadian city that Jericho discovered his love for wrestling, and he got his first taste of the business as a member of the ring crew for a local promotion as a teenager.

At 19 years old, Jericho pursued his dream and joined the Hart Brothers School of Wrestling. It took just a few months before Jericho was wrestling in shows all across the Canadian prairies, and it was in those early days that he crossed paths with fellow Canadian wrestlers Lance Storm, Edge, Christian and Rhino. The name "Chis Jericho" was also spawned from his touring across Canada.

Jericho eventually branched out to Mexico in 1992, where he further honed his high-impact in-ring style. He moved around North America in the mid-1990s, spending time in WAR, Smoky Mountain Wrestling and ECW before signing with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1996.

It was in WCW that Jericho's star truly began to rise, as his exciting style of wrestling and his brash personality on the mic shone. Jericho spent three impactful years at WCW, winning the cruiserweight and television titles while also splitting his time at New Japan Pro Wrestling (NPJW).

In August 1999, after weeks of teasers on WWE (then WWF) broadcasts, Jericho made the move to WWE with one of the most memorable debuts in wrestling history. His first minutes of screen time were shared with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, as both men exchanged verbal barbs that immediately established Jericho as a main event talent in the world's biggest wrestling promotion.

Jericho earned the WWE Intercontinental title within weeks of arriving at the company, and he would spend the next two years winning and losing the belt while also claiming the WWE Tag Team Championship.

With WWE's purchase of WCW in 2001, Jericho's star rose even higher as he first won the WCW Championship and then unified the title by winning the WWE Championship in a Triple Threat match against The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, making Jericho the first-ever WWF/E Undisputed Champion.

Despite losing the belts at Wrestlemania X8, Jericho remained a fixture in the title conversation for several years to come. His lengthy WWE run was truncated by a two-year exit from the company in 2005 and a smaller hiatus in 2010, but until his final exit in early 2018 Jericho remained a staple at the top of the WWE card, delivering countless memorable promos and matches.

Jericho then returned to NJPW, where he would cross paths with fellow Winnipegger Kenny Omega for a critically acclaimed program.

The pair would then both move on to the fledgling All Elite Wrestling, where in 2019 Jericho defeated Omega and then "Hangman" Adam Page to become the first AEW World Champion. Unsurprisingly, Jericho remains one of AEW's biggest stars, and he's since added to ROH World Championship to his impressive list of titles.
